A new year has begun.
I am not big on writing a list of resolutions.
Instead, I listen for the phrase that I am supposed to focus on throughout the year.
Last fall, I started feeling the phrase “Purify Your Motives” whispering in my head often. Now as the new year begins, I have no doubt those whisperings were the stirring of the spirit preparing me for my personal focus of the year. I will keep this phrase locked close to my heart and it will help me make changes and keep me in check in all corners of my life. As a mother. As a wife. As a friend. As a neighbor. In conversation. In performance. In writing. In praying. In all things, this year I will focus to “Purify my Motives.”
